Hi Rich,
The seeing at MB was good to very good at times last night. I trained Old
School on Sirius to try and get a handle on the optical quality of the
scope. While studying the airy disk and diffraction rings there would be
moments of steady seeing. I was not even thinking about the Pup, then all of
a sudden it popped out. when the seeing deteriorated a little the Pup
disappeared into the very edge of the first diffraction ring at about
3:30-4:00 o'clock. I was running at about 216x using a 5m Tak LE and a 2" 2x
Powermate.
