SJC and Salinas forecasts call for scattered clouds

    The aviation forecasts for the south bay look more encouraging than any I
    have seen for some time. They are currently calling for 4000-foot clouds
    covering between 3/8 and 4/8 of the sky. There may be periods of thicker
    cloud cover near sunset. The Sacramento cloud forecast also shows low clouds
    in the area, but Santa Clara Co is generally clear.
