James: Last night, after coming home from dinner and pie with my sister,
neices and nephew, I was admiring the stars from my driveway. Although,
light polluted from sodium vapor street lamps, I saw more stars than I'd
seen in some time. It was cold, so I only had time to take a short quiz of
the constellations in the sky. Looking toward Gemini, while distinguishing
Saturn from Pollux and Castor, I spied a nice falling star. It took me a
couple of second to realize it's origin was Gemini and was my first Geminid
of December. With that I ran to the warm house. Casey
