Ever since my wife and I visited Australia years ago, I've been meaning to
return to southern skies for some extended observing. I only had one night
with binoculars during our previous trip, but it was memorable.
I'm investigating going to Australia early in 2004. The Astronomical Society
of New South Wales appears to have a nice site that is open to visitors. It
has hosted the annual Southern Pacific Star Party for the past 11 years at
their site. Info is available at:

Anyone interested in going?
