Looks like the only clear weather forecast we're getting is for next Monday
through Wednesday (Dec. 15-17)--a mid-week OI opportunity. More rain is
forecast for the following weekend on Dec. 20-21st--I hope this forecast is
wrong. I will get out to observe somewhere (FP, Coyote) this next Tues. or
Weds. to get my observing in for the week if this Saturday is a bust. You
have to stay flexible during the rainy season. Since we're getting this much
rain before the Holiday's, I bet we'll have a nice (clearer and dryer)
January and February for our winter observing.

OK, here comes the curmudgeon. What part of the hemisphere are you guys
from? This is when we get our rain. Anybody old enough to remember the
drought of the mid-70's, our last dry cycle? It was a drag. My idea, don't
ruffle the weather gods.
Even closer to home, check out our colleagues at tAC-SAC. When it's full
Moon they quiet down, because they're not going out observing. Chatter drops
down. What a concept.
