Dear All,
I will be renting a mini-type van (Windstar or something similar) to go up to SSP this year. Figuring that it will provide more than enough room for me and my gear, I can take one other person up with their gear (telescopes and camping).
My planned itinerary is as follows:
PU van on 6/24 afternoon. Load up at my house. Ideally, I'd like to start getting out of the Bay Area by 4.30 AM on 6/25. My plan includes breakfast en route.
Planned return is Monday, 6/30 by early evening with a stop at In-N-Out Burger.
Anyone wishing to go up to SSP but who is not too keen on driving the distance alone, or driving for that matter, please contact me off list at m42gal at hotmail dot com. I will ask for 1/2 of rental fee and 1/2 gas (about $200.00 all together.)
