I went out last night to catch some music (my wife's band) and saw it was
clear when we got back to Palo Alto. I set up in my yard -- got in a good
hour of observing from 2:00 to 3:00 am. My spring target list was fast fading
in the west by then, but I was able to add NGC 5005, 5353 and three other
galaxies to my life list. Mars was up when I shut down and Sagittarius
beckoned.
