    I drove by the peak an hour or so ago. The area has high clouds. The peak
    itself is visible from the freeway.

    Salinas airport is reporting overcast at 11,000 as of 8PM.

    does that mean that the clouds at the peak will be blocking the sky or does
    that mean that the clouds at the peak are blocking the city lights below?
