Hmmm....I think that you are suffering from guilt symptoms. Have you
considered the implications of what you were saying Fri. night during dinner?
Perhaps you're feeling bad about not observing enough lately.
You know you shouldn't take bad seeing personally. It isn't your fault.
Really.
Once at Fremont Peak I had to wait three months for a decent night of
observing. Considering at that time I was in the habit of making three or
more trips a month (300 mile round trip). How many three day weekends can one
endure sitting around in the fog? I was litterly climbing the trees around
the observatory. The problem was that they were slippery from all of the fog,
but I kept it up anyway. I should have realized that I was slipping but I
wouldn't give it up.
But, it finally passed and I returned to climbing the 30 inch and not
the trees.
Feel better now?
By the way did you know that the number 7 had special significance to
the early Hebrew People.....
