I also contacted Kalmbach a few months ago because a picture of Rukl's Atlas still appeared on the Kalmbach web site. They said that they are phasing out all of their astronomy books and have no plans to reprint Rukl's book. I then sent an email to Sky Publishing, and they told me that they do have plans to reprint the book. So maybe there is hope.

I contacted Kalmbach last week. The rumors are nothing more than rumors. A
Czech company has the copyright, and I believe they print a Czech, German
and French version only. There are no new plans for an English version that
they know of. Some enterprising publisher needs to make a deal....
