Actually, my taxes turned out well this year. That's what I was doing
Saturday night instead of peeking at stars.
But, I thought the name "Poorhouse Party" might be fun to use, and set a
"theme" (the real theme is "let's have some fun") for a party.
So, now that I've officially received an agreement to host it... I am happy
to announce
"Another TAC Party"
This is the after tax "Poorhouse Party"...
All are invited... 9pm to 1am or so.... Saturday April 19th.
In keeping with a "poorhouse" theme, let's have NO fancy food. Whatever
you bring to share, it should be what you'd eat when nobody else knows
you're eating it. Chips and salsa are fine of course... that's cheap
stuff. Some soft of beany-weenie-thingy? Perfect. Cocktail
weenies? Yep. Pizza, sure 'nuff. KFC - ya... you're getting the idea! A
sixer of Schlitz? Uh huh.
Wear your poorhouse clothes too :-)
Also, whatever home-made astro-goody you think might be kind of interesting
- are you creative - that is an inexpensive solution to a high cost problem
(this might be an RTMC preview!)... of course if you *really* have
something you just have to share that's outside the theme - some new
expensive "everyone's gotta see this" thing - we'll let you show it off in
a corner somewhere - so bring it.
If you are new to the group, or have been a quiet lurker but feel like
finally getting to know some of the fun folks frequenting this list,
c'mon! Nothing to lose, we're a down to earth friendly group. Much more
so in person where we *really* have to behave ;-) Come and join us. Kids
are welcome too (as long as you keep an eye on them - we have a pool).
