I have a Nikon coolpix 5700 that works very well and does allow for remote use and it has a 1-5 minute bulb feature....The camera is 5 megapixel...

need a line level video out (rca plug), capability of remote control
(prevents shake) and external power in (you dont want to run on the
internal batteries). The Nikons work well also, the Casios will take up
to 64sec exposures and over a couple of seconds, will take their own dark
frame and subtract it.
