Bad software and lousy data... warning... opinionated...

Two things... both controversial...

1) Some software vendors try to update their catalogs (like Chris Marriot
and Emil ????) and we ought support those people with our $$$. If people
would stop using garbage like _The_Sky_ then the brothers 'B' might get the
idea that perhaps they ought try to update their catalogs now and then. Just
my opinion of course and obviously I deleted _The_Sky_ off my laptop long
ago. So I sort of practice what I preach.

2) Imagers for the most part image the same 'bright things' as every other
imager and in my 'limited' experience rarely care about what faint fuzzies
they are imaging in the vast lumpy darkness surrounding the 'bright thing'.
Certainly most don't label such images for anything other than 'the bright
thing'. So the authors of _The_Sky_ can get away with crappy data and charge
a ton for it because: "Their software can make 'pretty pictures'."

Okay, I am in a crappy mood... flame away... :)
