Reminder: Pacheco Park Star Party this Saturday, April 5

Weather permitting, there is a public star party at Pacheco State Park this
Saturday, April 5.

Official time for the public is from sunset to 10PM. Of course, we can stay
later.

The weather at Pacheco can be cold, wet, and/or windy. As long as the sky is
clear in the Bay Area, and the CSC looks good, it shouldn't get too cold or
wet. You can check the wind conditions by calling the San Luis Reservoir
weather number: 800 805-4805.

Since the long range forecast is iffy, I'll stay in touch with the ranger
during the week. I'll post on TAC if the event is cancelled.

For those who don't know where Pacheco is, it is east out of Gilroy, at the
top of Pacheco Pass along HWY 152 (the same turn-off as Dinosaur Point).
Turn right into the parking lot a few hundred yards from HWY 152. Anyone
bringing a telescope for the star party does not have to pay the usual fee.

Thanks.
Albert
