    Actually, I beleive for largish dobs the preferred material in _azimuth_ is
    that stuff they use for the (e.g.) montebello bathroom walls... QFC? I
    dont remember the name... but it is (I beleive) much cheaper than
    ebony star. This is what the absession rides on. And there is still
    teflon pads.

    But ebony star is used in altitude.

    Btw... mark!... if you get some, I think I could use a couple
    more pieces... I have some I got from crazy ed (along with
    the virgin teflon kit) a while ago. So *depending on price*,
    I might be willing to go in on a sheet, or maybe get another
    sheet, whatever makes sense.
