A penumbral eclipse of ol' Luna occurs tomorrow (December 30th), with
mid-eclipse about 2:30am Pacific Time. First contact with the penumbra is
about 12:25am, with the Moon leaving the penumbra about 4:33am.

Yes, I know a penumbral eclipse is nothing to get excited about, but does
anybody know if the mid-eclipse dimming would be detectable by eye ... or
    only on film?
