You city boys just go ahead and chortle. My neighbor over the fence is a
farmer, works as a farm manager for Earthbound Farms and goes from Oregon
to Mexico. He was full of chupacabra facts. It's the goats that mostly have
to worry about the chupacabra, but the southern Cascades are in fact the
north end of their range, and we are also actually warm-blooded mammals.
And Steve was definite about the chupacabra not being vaguely human. He's
an empirical ag scientist.
There was a dude on s.a.a recently going on about dark skies, how he was on
the leeward side of Nantucket and it was so dark he couldn't see his hand
in front of him. What a crock. I grew up 10 miles from a town of 300, and
we had no lights at night. City boys.
