Mark, the first part of your post was wonderfully poetic, and since I am one
of those first-timers at Lassen, the excitement is getting so thick you can
almost cut it with a knife.
The second part, abou the chupacabras...well, let's just say I would have
been more scared if the link above had worked (it doesn't) ;-)
It will take a pack of the sulphur-smelling beasties to physically drag me
away from my scopes up there. Chupas be damned! I'll just bring a spritzer
of Lemon Pledge to get rid of the sulphur smell...I hear that's a good Chupa
repellent, too. Can anyone confirm this?
