I don't know about anyone else; but I thought that Jupiter put on quite
a show this past weekend. I counted seven bands definitely and eight
maybe. The transits were a bonus. I also noticed festoons on Saturday
night; that was the first time in a long time that those type of cloud
features popped out for me. The best viewing of Jupiter was from
Bumpass and I presume the Peak lot. Saturday, at Devestated, had
moments of excellent seeing, but it was more variable from the lower
altitude. I did most of my Jupiter observing at 200x
