Is Montabello still in use for observing?
« on: October 02, 2017, 07:57:16 AM »
Hello,

Just curious if the Montabello site was still in use for observing, also to find out if James Turley or Ivor Barker are still around in  the local astronomy community? Thanks in advance...

Clear skys,

Eric

Yes, we were up at MB this summer.

James is indeed around and about.

(Tho, I’m thinking we should get up to MB more often — it is so close.)

They sky's were okay up there but the people and local were fantastic imo.  I see Mark Wagner is still around, Hi Mark :)
Oh yea so is Henry Coe SP still in use by us?  I really liked that site as well.
