Friday evening an hour after sunset there is a nice combination of the waxing crescent moon right above Mu Sagittarii and Mars sitting next to Lambda Sagittarii, the top of the Teapot asterism. Along with this, the moon, Saturn and Venus form a nearly straight line to the horizon.  Nice naked-eye astronomy lineup.

playing with Starry Night, on the evening of the 9th, Mars will be about 1.5° from M22....   trouble is, there's a 60% lit moon 20° away...
