As Casey also posted, let's get together at Montebello Saturday night.  Arrive a little early and bring a small dish or snack to share; we'll have a table covered with food offerings. 

Sunset 7:46 PM

A very new moon, just a few hours past new, less than < 1% illuminated, sets at 8:01 PM

End of civil twilight 8:14 PM

A minor iridium flare (mag -2), overhead in Leo, at 8:20:25 PM.

Then the ISS at mag -2.4 appearing low in the NW at 9:27 PM, climbing through Cassiopeia at 9:29 PM, passing the tip of Cepheus, then winking out in earth's shadow 30 degrees above the horizon in Ursa Minor a minute later at 9:30 PM.
