Lynds Dark Nebula 1251 in Cepheus

12hr LRGB from October 2014
LDN 1251 is a very faint nebula in Cepheus. This is an extended cloud of gas and dust considered to be a low mass star formation region. There are three identified galaxies in the image: PGC166755 upper center, PGC69472 left and PGC166762 upper left.
